Chapter: Saint Leo University

Dear Southern Region,

My name is Melinda Vitale but you can call me Mindy. I am so excited and honored to serve as your 2016- 2017 NSMH Southern Regional Chair. I am a junior at Saint Leo University majoring in hospitality management and international tourism with a minor of sport hospitality. I joined NSMH my fall semester of freshman year back in 2014 and became involved with NSMH right away on my chapter's e-board. I am so honored to be representing an amazing organization that allows minority students to build and maintain relationships with hospitality professionals.

As your Southern Regional Chair, I am here to help you and your chapter to grow in the NSMH world. My goal is to help you and your chapter take charge in the hospitality industry by way of participation and leadership. I look forward to seeing you and your chapter at our Southern Regional Summit hosted by the NSMH Chapter at University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida on October 22, 2016. At Regionals, NSMH and I need your presence to make the southern region the Strong South. Your attendance at the Southern Summit will allow the spirit of the Strong South to be able to continue on at the National Conference.

Words cannot describe how happy I am to have The 28th Annual NSMH National Conference and Career Fair "Planting Seeds for Growth" February 23- 26, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Floridian, I hope the sunshine state brings you happiness and success when you come and visit for the Southern Summit and National Conference.

I can't wait to work with you all and see you and your chapter shine brightly at the conferences. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

Best regards,

Mindy Vitale
